According to IIPGC, Rasoul Ashrafzadeh said Dehdasht Polyethylene
Project was one of the company’s priorities, adding the ground was paved for
dipping into the NDFI resources for financing the project.
He said the operating bank of the project would select a contractor
for completion of the project within the next few weeks and the plant would be
built under an EPC contract.
The CEO said that generation of jobs in the area, enhancing its
revenues and growth of industries by tapping private capital were some of the
benefits of launching the plant in Dehdasht.
Once the facility comes online, various grades of polyethylene would
be produced to be consumed as raw material in numerous downstream industries
which would be a major step in industrialization of the province.
The plant would operate with 300,000 tons of annual production
capacity.
