According to the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC),
the certificate was given to the company for preservation of the environment
and promotion of the society’s health.
The plant began procedures to qualify for the certificate back in 2011
and kept close contact with the Ministry of Health as well as Jondi Shapour
University in Ahwaz.
This is the first time for a petrochemical company to receive the
certificate.
