During the tour, he visited Sepehr Parsian Refining Company which is
the feedstock supplier of the Methanol Unit of Bushehr Petrochemical Plant.
Mohammadi called for acceleration of construction of the
project by removing the barriers which have slowed down their progress.
He also visited Kaveh Petrochemical Plant which is touted as the
world’s largest methanol production plant.
Once operational, the facility will supply 7,000 tons of the item on a
daily basis.
Sepehr Parsian Refining project has so far progressed 76.5 percent and
is expected to come on stream during the next Iranian calendar year which
starts on March 21 2020.
The methanol unit of Bushehr Petrochemical Plant is almost complete
(99%).
