The achievement
was made by domestic experts in the plant increased the production capacity of the
facility’s ethane extraction unit to 100% by injecting propane and surplus butane
to the recirculated gas in the unit.
According Pars
Petrochemical Company, since two weeks ago, with a successful implementation of
the unique initiative of Iranian engineers under sanctions, the unit’s
productivity has risen by 40%, which is a record by itself.
Accordingly,
the profit from the initiative is estimated at more than $92 million per year.
What is
more, Pars Petrochemical Company can now fully supply the ethane feedstock needed
by Arya-Sasol Petrochemical Plant and part of ethane needed by Jam Petrochemical
Facility.
