Jafar Rabiei
said given the abundance of liquid and gas feedstock at PGPIC disposal, “we intend
to develop downstream projects as well.”
Speaking to
NIPNA, the official outlined PGPIC plans for the future, saying completion of
under-construction projects is the company’s top priority.
He said completion
of Bidboland, Lordegan and Ilam petrochemical projects were highly prioritized by
PGPIC, the company supplied various kinds of feedstock that could be consumed
in downstream projects inside the country without having to export them as raw
materials.
Downstream projects
can be run by the private sector and need not be near abundant water resources,
he said.
