Speaking during a visit to Assaluyeh, southern Iran, the official
told NIPNA that PSEZ enjoyed favorable grounds for development and over 2,000
hectares of land could be allocated for developing petrochemical projects in
the region.
He said studies needed to be carried out on construction of
projects and establishment of relations between them as well as their feedstock
supply.
The official went on to add that projects which had made
between 40 to 80 percent progress needed to come online within the next two
years.
PSEZ is located 15 kilometers west of the southern city of Parsian
in Hormuzgan Province.
