Speaking to NIPNA on the sidelines of the 12th
IranPlast trade show, held Sept. 24-27 in Tehran, the Iranian capital, Peyman
Tarabkhah, managing director of PetroPak Mashreq Zamin, said, “Our domestic and
foreign visitors have increased by 20% compared to last year, from such countries
as Spain, Mexico, Colombia, China, and the Balkans.
He said his company produced polymer grades
that Saudi Arabia’s SABIC did not have the ability to produce, and only a few
European companies enjoyed the savvy to supply.
Tarabkhah further said that his company, as a
subsidiary of Boca Petrochemical Holding, was launched in 2017 and was currently
the largest supplier of polystyrene in the Middle East with 100,000 tons of annual
production capacity.
He said the main throughput of his company was
styrene monomer, mineral oil, polybutadiene and other chemicals that are
supplied domestically from Iran.
“We export items to 25 countries in Europe,
Asia, Africa and China,” he added.
