Speaking to NIPNA, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said inauguration of new
compounding and polymer catalyst production units is a necessity for developing
downstream projects in the petrochemical sector.
He said the showcase has been up and running since 2002 in a bid to
put on display the latest developments in polymer plastics industries of Iran and
the world.
Nematzadeh said the wide reception of the fair has made it an indispensable
event in the country's industrial calendar.
He also proposed that the fair must be most focused on export of
products by Iranian producers.
"The fair is a valuable event and I hope more export items are
put on display at the exhibit," he added.
