Speaking to NIPNA, Farnaz Alavi, director of planning and development at NPC, said new projects in the petrochemical sector follow the latest standards of the world.
She said the projects are aimed at curbing sale of crude oil and gas and completing the value chain in the sector.
Turning natural gas to olefins, propane, propylene and its derivatives, consumption of natural gas liquids, ethane, butane, etc. for production of various kinds of products and feeding newly-built plants are considered in definition of the new projects.
She said NPC eyes powerful presence in international markets and completing the supply chain in the industry as its top goals.
"For this reason, ensuring diversity of products and completing the value chain are focused by the company," Alavi added.
