Speaking to NIPNA, Soleimani said foreign investors have indicated strong willingness to engage in Iran’s oil, gas, refining, petrochemical, mineral and power projects, adding the investment group has so far finalized financing of 1.5 billion Euros by foreigners and is in talks for cementing further deals with them.
He said despite the fact that the negotiations are still continuing for certain projects in Iran, the financing companies have initiated their activities over some projects already.
He expressed optimism that the group will ensure investment of at least 2.5 billion Euros in the country’s energy projects in the near future.
Investors from Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain and Czech are the most interested financiers in Iran’s projects, he added.
