Bushehr Petrochemical Plant will come on stream this year to be followed
by Parsian Sepehr Refinery next calendar year.
Moreover, Morvarid, Aray Sasol, Kavian and Jam petrochemical plants will
also bolster their productivity within the next two years.
Speaking to NIPNA, Ghodratollah Farajpour, direction of production control
at the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), said all the aforementioned plants
could enhance their output within two years.
He said the ethane feedstock needed for increasing the output of the plants
was available and there were no problems in this regard.
NPC is state-run and controls feedstock supply to the privatized petrochemical
industry of Iran.
