Speaking to NIPNA, Mostafa Taheri Najaf Abadi said this would also
prevent sale of crude materials in the industry.
The effective strategy is to move from methanol production to MTP, MTO
and the like, as well as production of ethylene and polypropylene which can
thus lead to completion of the petrochemical industry value-chain in the
future, he said.
He also stated that the company’s projects would also be quoted in the
stock market after it launched the Kimiya Pars Middle East Petrochemical Company.
The official also said the holding had chosen the petrochemical industry for investing
as the sector yielded more profits in comparison with other industrial sectors
of the country.
