During a
brief visit to Makran Petrochemical Complex on a trip to Pakistan, the Foreign Minister said China was determined
to build a petrochemical park in Chabahar.
Mohammad
Javad Zarif also learned about the latest developments of the largest
industrial facility in south-east Iran.
He
underlined the significance of the plant and other projects based in Chabahar, as
they ensured development of stability and security in south-east Iran, and helped
to enhance security in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Mr. Zarif emphasized
the use of effective solutions to finance petrochemical projects based in
Makran Petrochemical Complex and eliminate barriers to accelerating construction
of the third oil hub in the country.
