Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 24th Iran Oil
Show in Tehran on Wednesday, Hassan Montazer Torbati said that NIGC would
supply feedstock to petrochemical facilities as much as they needed as the
sector is regarded as one of NIGC’s top priorities.
He said Iran’s natural gas output in the previous Iranian calendar
year which ended on March 20 was at an average of 800 mcm/d which will reach
nearly a billion cubic meters this year.
“Over the past two years, we have shown Europe that NIGC could be
considered as a gas exporter,” the official added.
