Speaking to NIPNA, Ghodratollah Farajpour, director of
production control at the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), said the
pipeline has been partly repaired and work was seriously continuing to bring it
back to work.
He state that a part of the pipeline, which carries feedstock
for dozens of petrochemical plants in western Iran, would come online by the
end of next week.
Almost all Iranian provinces were hit by severe rainfalls
and ensuing flooding which has claimed the lives of over 75 and injured
hundreds of people since late March.
The pipeline delivers ethylene from southern Iran to petrochemical
facilities in western provinces of the country.
