Addressing a
ceremony to welcome the new head of the HSE department of NPC, Mohammadi said HSE
management and passive defense were considered as key pillars in every company,
adding NPC, as a development company, shall functions as the regulator of over
100 petrochemical projects and complexes across the country.
He said HSE had
a special status for NPC, adding HSE should not be merely regarded as
management of safety issues and companies in their HSE management must consider
passive defense activities.
The official called
for provision of the required legal instruments and HSE instructions for
carrying out the related measures in petrochemical facilities.
“Today, HSE is
viewed as a value and the world’s most successful companies view it likewise,”
Mr. Mohammadi added.
