According to the plant’s public relations, this is the second time
that the unit wins the status.
The director of production control at National Petrochemical Company
(NPC) has granted a statute to the facility for being among the most productive
petrochemical facilities in the country.
The plant, with an area of 5 acres, is located on site 3 of Bandar Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.
The plant is fed by cut four-carbon (Raffinate 1) and methanol and its products include Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) as the main product and cut four-carbon (Raffinate 2) as a by-product.
