Speaking to
NIPNA, Mr. Sharifi, the CEO of the project, said the equipment and items needed
for completion of the plant had been purchased and 57 percent of them had so
far been procured.
He said
contracts had been signed with domestic manufacturers for supplying and
procurement of items, adding all the items needed for completion of the project
would be supplied by the next 15 months.
The official
further said the engineering and licensing sections of the project had so far
made 87 and 65 percent, respectively.
The plant is
being constructed in Assaluyeh, southern Iran, and is being built for
production of 1,650 tons of AA-grade methanol.
