development plans, saying the three petrochemicals firms had closed ranks to
launch two major projects in Assaluyeh, southern Iran.
He said Pars Petrochemicals would supply a part of the feedstock

domestically.
The official also stated that after an overhaul, the monomer
styrene output of his company had exceeded its installed capacity (106%) from
previously only 40% of its installed production capacity.
