The 21st IME-100 Conference was held on
January 28 at the IRIB conference hall, where the CEO of National Petrochemical
Company (NPC), Behzad Mohammadi, was also present among other senior petrochemical
officials of the country.
PGPIC registered a record of Rls. 339,521 billion of
sales during the calendar year of 1396 (which ended on March 20, 2018), gaining
Rls. 134,124 billion in terms of value added index during the same year, and recorded
the highest volume of exports during the year among other companies in the country.
Also, Arya Sasol Polymer Company won the first rank for
sales efficiency, and Zagros Petrochemicals Company was honored as the leading
export-oriented company and ranked first in terms of productivity in the petrochemicals
section of the conference.
Kiani Bakhtiari, the managing director of the
Industrial Management Organization, spoke about the objectives of the
conference, saying, “Information generation in the country's enterprises and ensuring
transparency of the business environment, ranking the companies in terms of their
impact on the national economy and competitiveness of the country's economic
enterprises are among the most important goals of this conference.”
PGPIC also exported $9 billion worth of items during
the year, he said.
Founded in 1962, the Industrial Management Institute
