TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The required permits for building three GTX petrochemical plants have been issued at Parsian Energy Intensive Industrial Special Economic Zone (PSEZ).

The above was announced during a visit by the Iranian Minister of Petroleum, Bijan Zangeneh, to the area on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Thanks to its proximity to high seas and abundance water supplies, and easy access to feedstock supplies are some of the features that give PSEZ the oomph to become a petrochemicals hub in the future.

PSEZ is located 15 kilometers west of the southern city of Parsian in Hormuzgan Province.

A meeting was held at PSEZ in which the region’s master development plan was tabled.

The meeting, which was arranged at PSEZ, was held in the presence of the Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh, the CEO of the Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation, known as IMIDRO, and the head of PSEZ.
