The above was announced during a visit by the Iranian
Minister of Petroleum, Bijan Zangeneh, to the area on the occasion of the 40th
anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Thanks to its proximity to high seas and abundance water
supplies, and easy access to feedstock supplies are some of the features that give
PSEZ the oomph to become a petrochemicals hub in the future.
PSEZ is located 15 kilometers west of the southern city of
Parsian in Hormuzgan Province.
A meeting was held at PSEZ in which the region’s master
development plan was tabled.
The meeting, which was arranged at PSEZ, was held in the
presence of the Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh, the CEO of the
Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation, known as
IMIDRO, and the head of PSEZ.
