According to the company’s PR, the conference was held with
the supervision of the Department of Environment (DOE) and the Research Center of Environment and Sustainable
Development at the international conference hall of DOE on January 22.
Isa Kalantari, head of the DOE, the UNIDO resident representative,
the representative of GIZ and a large number of the representatives of industrial
and service companies.
The criteria for choosing winners in the conference were environmental
measures taken in the previous calendar year and included factors like
promotion of energy efficiency measures, exploiting renewable energy resources
and having obtains such certificates as ISO 14000.
