Speaking to NIPNA, Majid Reza Hariri underlined Iran’s vast potentialities in the petrochemical industry, adding the sector was a major source of income for Iran and contributed greatly to export of non-oil items.
He said, “I am of the opinion that the sanctions would not be much of an impact on development of the industry.”
The official further stated that the petrochemical industry was the foundation stone of the country’s industrial developments, adding that in Iran, the petrochemical industry enjoyed massive potentialities and infrastructure and had access to abundance skilled labor which was unparalleled in the region.
“If we wish to improve our economy, the best way is to materialize the petrochemical leap in the country and enhance exports of the items produced in the sector,” he said.
“The petrochemical industry is the most lucrative industry in the country,” Hariri added.
