Behzad Mohammadi,
during a visit to the plant, expressed optimism that it would become operational
properly without many technical glitches.
Once operational,
the unit would supply 7,000 tons per day of methanol and is touted as the world’s
largest methanol project.
He described
the unit as the gemstone of the petrochemical industry in Dayyer, southern Iran,
which is regarded as a major project in the oil and petrochemical industries.
The project
is being built in 220 hectares of land in the western shores of Dayyer, Bushehr
Province.
