TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Iran’s Amir Kabir Petrochemical Plant managed to generate Rls. 1.5 billion by upgrading its boring machine, an official with the facility said.

Head of the plant’s central workshop Amir Hossein Vahdati said that with the efforts and capabilities of the domestic staff of the company, investment of one billion and 500 million rials in the boring machine of the company was returned in about 3 months.

He said a multi-purpose CNC machine to convert an old single-purpose machine worth Rls. 3.5 billion (at the time of purchase) was developed for renovating the boring machine with an investment of Rls. 1.5 billion.
