Speaking
to NIPNA, Fereydoon Hassanvand underlined the great potentialities of the petrochemical
industry in Iran, adding that the sector was a major source of income for the
country as it accounted for the lion’s share of non-oil exports.
“We are under
the impression that the sanctions would not impact the sector dramatically,” the
MP said.
He further
stated that the availability of skilled labor in Iran was one of the advantages
of developing projects in the sector, adding the petrochemical industry was the
best and easiest way to materialize Iran’s economic progress.
