No Worries for Selling Petchem Products: First Deputy Minister

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- First Deputy Minister of Petroleum Marziyeh Shahdaei said the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum has plans for selling petrochemical products under sanctions.

Speaking to NIPNA, the official said, "As we strategically plan for production, we have a solution to sell these products whether in good conditions or harsh times."

She said the world needs Iran's products and "it's not like we produce items and build plants and the world does not need them. Our oil and petrochemical products are contributing to the world. Of course, the enemy will do their best and we will also work out appropriate solutions."

She further added that plans were under way for boosting domestic consumption of ethane like Kian and Bushehr olefin projects. Moreover, projects are being considered for liquefying ethane for exporting the item.
