Speaking to NIPNA, Ali Golmoradi underlined the
necessity of supporting the petrochemical industry and completion of under-construction
projects across the country, adding, "In effect, the petrochemical sector
must be moving in such a direction to keep the country away from sales of crude oil and gas so that
the country's riches are exploited in an optimum manner."
The MP said the industry needs to be calibrated
with the latest global trends in order for the country to secure itself a firm
toehold in international markets and jockey with the sector's heavyweights by
producing quality items.
He said the parliament and the administration
were ready to close ranks to support the sector in Iran, adding completion of the
value chain has always been one of the major economic concerns of the country.
By integrated and precise planning, "we can
overcome challenges and hurdles in the industry," further said the MP.
The country's in special economic conditions and because of that the petrochemical
industry can be used as a major lever to drive the country out of such conditions
by sticking to the principles of economic resilience, he said.
