Reza Norouzzadeh said on Tuesday in a visit to
the Iran Oil and Gas Show that Iranian manufacturers must be equipped with the
latest technologies for a strong presence in the market.
He said visiting the showcase showed that Iranian
manufacturers have improved a lot recently and most of them are capable to administer
petrochemical projects by relying on their technical prowess.
The CEO further added that the international sanctions
on Iran have decelerated development of technologies in Iran, however, production
of petrochemicals has grown from 14 million tons per year in 2005 to over 50
mt/y in 2018.
