The festival
was held in the southern city of Asaluyeh, the petrochemical hub of Iran,
parallel with the 7th National Persian Gulf Wisdom Festival on Tuesday.
The ceremony was
held with several senior petroleum and petrochemical official in attendance including
Habibollah Bitarif, Deputy Petroleum Minister for Research, Technology and
Engineering, Ismail Ghanbari , PRTC Managing Director, Mehdi Yousefi, Managing
Director of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, and a group of government officials and
authorities.
During the
ceremony, PRTC presented a part of its research and technology achievements
with the aim of interacting with industrial units, responding to the needs of
the industry and in line with offering demand-driven research and technological
activities.
The
PRTC laureates were as follows: Seyyed Hadi Alaei, winner of the 1st
award for Superior Technology, Dr. Mohsen Bahmani, winner of the 3rd
award as the top researcher, Zohreh Majedi, 3rd award as the top researcher,
Lida Rasouli, 1st award as research expert, and Abolghasem Moghimi, 3rd
award.
