Pars Petchem Plant Exports nearly $700m in 10 Months

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The petrochemical exports of Pars Petrochemical Complex have reached 690 million dollars in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

The facility, touted as one of the biggest petrochemical producers in Iran, supplied 3.18 million tons of petrochemicals during the period and exported 1.23 million tons of its output.

Only in the month of Dey (December 22-January 20) the company supplied 236,000 tons of products of which 107,000 tons was exported.

The plant operated with roughly 4.5 million tons of annual production capacity and is the biggest supplier of items like ethane, propane, butane, benzene, ethylbenzene, and styrene monomer.

It is also a major exporter of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and styrene monomer.
