Skilled labor key to Petchem Progress: CEO

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Managing Director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Reza Norouz-Zadeh called on the directors of petrochemical facilities across the country to pay enough heed to skilled human resources as the key strategy for developing the sector.

Speaking during a visit to Pars Special Energy Economic Zone, the official told a gathering of petrochemical executives on Tuesday that NPC has committed itself to alleviating the concerns and issues of petrochemical producers in the country.

During the meeting, the official heard about the concerns and worries of the executives and learned about their latest achievements and developments.

Noruzzadeh embarked on a two-day tour of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Assaluyeh, south of Iran, on Monday.

The official headed a high-profile petrochemical delegation to the region and is scheduled to visit several petrochemical facilities operating at PSEEZ including Bushehr, Marjan, Damavand, Sabalan, Sadaf, Pad Jam, Apadani, Dena and Kimia Pars Khavar Mianeh.

The delegation will also visit a loading wharf and other petrochemical complexes in the region to hear their latest developments and performances.
