Plant supplies nearly 4 mt of Output in 8 Months

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) has supplied over 3.75 million tons of petrochemical products in the first 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

The plant, touted as Iran's largest petrochemical company, is estimated to produce over 5 million tons of petrochemicals by the end of the current fiscal year.

In other news, BIPC won the 5-star Excellence Award of the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).

EFQM is committed to helping organizations drive performance improvement through the EFQM Excellence Model, a comprehensive management framework used by over 30,000 organizations in Europe

To help companies implement EFQM Model, the body provides training and assessment tools as well as recognition for all levels of maturity.

EFQM, a not-for-profit membership Foundation founded in 1989, aims to share what works, through case studies, online webinars, working groups, conferences and thematic events.

The award is based on the eight fundamental principles of Conjecture, Customer Orientation, Leadership and Stability in Purposes, Employee Development and Participation, Learning, Innovation and Improvement, Corporate Development, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

BIPC has so far won over 25 national and international credits and certificates mostly for its environment-friendly operations.
