Hossein
Alimorad, director of investments at NPC, said after this round of talks, the
manner of NPC's partnership with the Anglo-Dutch firm will be determined.
He said
talks with internationally renowned companies from Asia and Europe are
continuing and have so far born good results.
"Foreign
companies are keen on investing in Iran and teaming up directly with the NPC,
which is legally banned to partner with other companies," he added.
NPC
can only supervise implementation of contracts and carrying of projects, he
said, adding the company is only able to invest in projects in remote areas or
the ones that are to develop with state-of-the-art technologies.
