The projects include phase
III of Paradis Petrochemical Plant with 1.755 million tons of urea and ammonia
production capacity (99.5% compete), Kaveh Petrochemical Plant with 2.310 mt of
methanol production capacity (98% complete), Marjan Petrochemical Plant with
1.65 mt/y of production capacity (95% complete) and Bushehr Plant's ethane and
methanol recovery units with 4.11 mt/y of capacity (90% complete).
Once operational the units
will add nearly 10 million tons to the country's petrochemical production
capacity.
