Kurdistan Petchem Plant Exports 116k Tons of Products in H1

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iran's Kurdistan Petrochemical Plant exported over 116,000 tons of light-density polyethylene in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

By exporting the items, the plant joined the club of Iranian petrochemical exporters.

The exports fetched the company some $144m.

Launched in the first days of the current calendar year, the facility has planned production of 240,000 tons of petrochemicals over the course of the current calendar year.

Moreover, the plant's output was 124% of its planned production during the H1.
