During the
5 months beginning on March 21 (start of the Iranian calendar year), the country exported a total of $36.63b worth of goods during the
period, up by 5.34% from the corresponding period last year, said the data.
Iran’s
imports stood at $19.44b during the period, up 16.49% year-on-year.
Moreover,
export of gas condensate stood at $2.92b, polyethylene film grade at $652m, liquefied
propane at $576m and other light oils and petroleum products excluding gasoline
at $555m.
Methanol
export also stood at 498 million dollars during the same period.
Most of
Iran’s exports were destined to China, UAE, South Korea, India and Turkey.
