Unprecedented Number of Foreign Exhibitors Expected at IranPlast 2017

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marziyeh Shahdaei said she expects an unprecedented turnout of foreign participants at the upcoming edition of IranPlast exhibition, slated for 24-27 Sep 2017.

Shahdaei said plastic, polymer and petrochemical industrialists from across the globe are expected to show up at the showcase.

She said NPC takes every effort to hold every edition of the fair better than its previous ones.

Marziyeh Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs, further said Iranian and foreign producers, consumers and manufacturers are expected to exhibit their products and latest achievements at the exhibit.

"We expect to witness an unprecedented turnout of domestic and foreign exhibitors at this year's edition of the fair," the official added.

IranPlast is one of the largest and most important exhibitions in Iran, in the fields of Raw Materials, Machinery & Moulds, Auxiliaries and Services for Plastics & Rubber industries, as well as, one of the most magnificent ones in the Middle East region and Asia.

Historically, IranPlast has had a growing trend from the very first edition in 2002. Since then, more than 4000 companies from Iran and other countries have participated at such a great exhibition event.

The first 5 editions of IranPlast were organized annually but from the 6th session, it became a biennale exhibition, in order to enhance its quality, structure and organization.

IranPlast 2017 is held under the condition that while in the 11th IranPlast more than 920 Iranian and non-Iranian companies had participated in this exhibition and more than 30,000 trade and public visitors had visited this show.
