Assalouyeh, Mahshahr Petchem Plants Spend IRR1,020b on CSR Measures

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The state and private subsidiaries of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) in Mahshahd and Assalouyeh petzones have spent over IRR 1,020 billion for carrying out corporate social responsibility measures during the past 3 years, an official says.

Addressing an HSE conference in petroleum industry, Managing Director of NPC Marziyeh Shahdaei said that petroleum industry has long been active in CSR and has so far obtained many tangible achievements in this regard.

Speaking at a specialized panel at the conference, the official said NPC has always considered the locales in every project it has conducted in various parts of the country.

Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs, said the company has developed various committees for pursuing CSR activities by petrochemical facilities across the country.
