Addressing the first petrochemical investment opportunities conference in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday, Shahdaei introduced Iran’s petrochemical potentialities and projects to the conference participants.
She also voiced NPC’s support for investors in petrochemical projects, saying the sector is thriving in Iran and new projects have been defined across the country.
The first international conference on investment opportunities in Iran’s petrochemical sector was held in Vienna in the presence of Iran’s ambassador to Austria, Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister for petrochemical affairs, and representatives of over 170 international companies from various European and non-European countries.
The conference was aimed at assessing novel methods and means for expanding mid-stream and downstream sectors of petrochemical industry by establishing joint ventures, ensuring technology transfer and technical knowhow and attracting investments for petrochemical projects.
The two-day conference wrapped up on Friday.
