According to the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), the country will generate the amount by exporting 67% of items and selling the rest on the domestic market.
Iran produced 50.6mt of petrochemical products in the previous year of 61.9 mt/y of installed capacity in its petrochemical facilities, said NPC.
Last year, the country exported 20.4 million metric tons of petrochemical items and sold 7.2mt on the domestic market.
