The deal, valued at $26m, will required SPEC to supply 220 tons of catalysts for Maroon plant.
The contract was signed on the sidelines of the Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show-2017).
Formerly, Maroon petrochemical plant had to import the catalyst from China which had proved to be of very low quality, said Rahim Sharif Mousavi, director of the plant.
The showcase opened on May 06 and ran until May 09 at Tehran’s permanent fairground.
Over 4,000 companies from Iran and 37 countries of the world put their latest industrial achievements on display at the exhibit.
