PGPIC Exploits Oil Show to Cement Deals with Int'l Partners

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) has signed several deal at the 22nd Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show-2017), the company's CEO said.

 

Speaking to NIPNA, Adel Nejad Salim said PGPIC has launched a large campaign to deal with international and leading chemical and energy partners at the oil show. 

"We will be enjoying a lot of cooperation with international contractors for developing and financing petrochemical projects," the CEO said.

He described this year's oil exhibition as much more practical and expansive than its previous editions thanks to implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). 

Salim said PGPIC has started construction of new petrochemical projects with €6b of investment of which one is expected to come online by March 2018. 

The showcase is being held with 4,000 exhibitors from across the globe running 1,800 pavilions.

1,016 pavilions are representing 2,500 Iranian firms while 811 other pavilions represent nearly 1,500 foreign companies from 37 countries. 

Exhibitors from China, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Austria, South Korea, the US, and Australia are running stalls at the 4-day showcase.
