Speaking on the sidelines of Iran Oil Show-2017, Managing Director of National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marziyeh Shahdaei said given the wide reception of the fair by oil and gas industrialists and companies, it is conjectured the promising talks will be held during the exhibit for financing and technology transfer in petrochemical projects.
The fair opened on May 6 and will run until May 9 at Tehran's permanent fairground.
The show is being held with 4,000 exhibitors from across the globe running 1,800 pavilions.
1,016 pavilions are representing 2,500 Iranian firms while 811 other pavilions represent nearly 1,500 foreign companies from 37 countries.
Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs, said talks between NPC and the representatives of a number of foreign companies have been held so far and will continue in the coming days of the showcase.
