Developed by Iranian experts, the plant took less than 18 months to complete with an investment of $60m under the license of Japan’s Toyo.
The company has so far exported nearly 40% of its output to customers in China, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Greece.
TJPAPC is the first GPPS production unit, operating in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, in the year labeled by Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as the year of Resistive Economy, Action and Practice.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani officially inaugurated the facility on Sunday.
