Lorestan Petchem Plant Supplies 191k Tons of Standard Items

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The managing director of Lorestan Petrochemical Plant says his company supplied 191,000 tons of standard as well as a few tons of substandard petrochemical items over the course of the previous calendar year which ended on March 20.

 

Speaking during a visit by a local official to the facility, Mr. Garshasbi said the plant made $191 million dollars in revenues last year, adding it exported 85% of its output to foreign customers. 

Located in the western province of Lorestan, the plant is owned by Bakhtar Holding Company and is planned to operate at 100% of its nameplate capacity in the current year.
