Speaking to NIPNA, Esmaeil Mousavi, managing director of the facility, said his company is seeking enhancement of its output this year and has laid the required roadmaps in this regard.
The plant processed and sold 296,600 tons of ammonia, 468,500 tons of pril urea and 18,800 tons of melamine during last year.
"We are pursuing production of 335,000 tons of ammonia and 507,000 tons of pril urea this year," he said.
Launched in 1992, Khorasan Petrochemical Plant is the biggest supplier petrochemicals in northern and northeastern Iran.
