The CEO said the world’s leading petrochemical companies have been able to integrate their activities in order to acquire more efficiency in their activities and hence generate more revenue out of their practices.
Addressing a national conference on petrochemical industry’s challenges and opportunities, Sharif Mousavi said export of petrochemicals fetches more income than oil and gas and the total amount of petrochemical exports will exceed that of oil and gas exports within the next two decades.
He further said this would be realized only if the sector gets the required supports both scientifically and financially.
