The pilot project for semi-industrial production of the item has been successfully designed and launched at the center, located in the central city of Arak by PRTC researchers.
The project can supply 50 tons of 1.5-3mm gamma-alumina spheres annually.
Every year, Iran needs over 150 tons of the item which will be provided through further stages of the project.
The item is widely used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries for various purposes including aromatization, reforming, propane dehydrogenation, LAB and HDS.
