The figures released by the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) public relations indicate that the industry supplied 4.05 million tons of products only in the month of Dey (10th months in Iranian calendar starting on December 21 to January 19).
1.387 million tons of products were sold on the domestic market and the rest, valued at $899.9m, was exported during the month, the data showed.
Ilam, Karbon Iran, Tabriz, Urmia, Rejal, Laleh, Noori, Zagros and Mehr were the most prolific plants during the month.
The 20 petrochemical plants in Mahshahr petrochemical zone supplied 15.1 million tons of petrochemical in the 10 months, 14 plants in Assalouyeh, southern Iran, produced 18.84 million tons and 19 other petrochemical plants across the country send 8.165 million tons of petrochemical products on the market during the period.
